Wind & Water @ Hauser Gallery, Chicago 1/25/13Hauser Gallery presents the two man show Wind & Water featuring Harvey Moon and Bill Sosin. Moon's work explores the shrinking line between artist and technology, highlighted by his Drawing Machine. The Machine is a fully automated device which makes the artist's 'marks' for him, creating renderings of live-streaming measurements of the weather around Chicago. Sosin's work investigates perception in his suite of photographs made through glass (window or windshield) covered in droplets of water. Catering by Guerrilla Smiles.

Analog @ The Neo-Futurist Theater, Chicago 3/1/13 - 4/6/13The Neo-Futurists are widely known for their long-running show Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind. This new production, Analog, certainly falls into a different format of play, but is nonetheless just as exciting and entertaining. I had the pleasure of working on the installation accompanying the play (through which audience members must travel to get to their seats) with a set of drawings I produced for the occasion - 1 each of the 44 Presidents of the United States. Conceived and written in part by Kurt Chiang, Analog delves introspectively into a writer's thought process, dealing with disease and prospects of death, and relationships between partners.
